Oh, dear – what a mess!

Once a year our pupils go around the area surrounding the school to collect the rubbish that passers-by have thoughtlessly left behind. As usual, everyone was surprised by the amount of rubbish we found and it opened our eyes once again to just how little regard many of our fellow humans have for their surroundings.

“Why can’t people just put their rubbish in the bin?” seemed to be the general consensus. Maybe our kids will be better at being tidy than previous generations have been. Let’s hope so…
