DigiMEDIA Group in Valencia – Day 5

Thursday was a cultural day, with a visit to Valencia’s old town. As you can see from the photos, this is a lovely place, with many typically narrow streets and plenty of Instagram-opportunities for media-hungry teens. Working in mixed groups, the pupils did an online treasure hunt using an app on their phones and there were specific tasks to perform at each location. This seemed to go down well, but as always the highlight was some free time for shopping… No surprises there, then!

In the evening there was a party at school for the Erasmus+ participants. All of the host families brought traditional Spanish food, so there was more than enough to go round. The kids had a great time playing ball games on the gym court and then danced the night away in the extremely loud make-shift disco. The evening was rounded off with the presentation of the certificates for the week.
