Burgenland Extreme Tour

On Friday 24th January a number of our pupils took part in the Burgenland Extreme Tour, a long-distance walk around Lake Neusiedl. Despite the very cold weather, everyone completed the 30 km section intended for school children (adults have the choice of 60, 80 or 120 km…) This is quite an achievement, as anyone who has walked that far in the middle of winter will tell you. And we can proudly say that the Bilingual Junior High School was the only Lower Austrian School that took part.

Of course, this would not be possible without the support of the teachers, so a big thank you to Mrs Bernhart, Mrs Wolfram, Mrs Eichberger and our Headmaster, Mr Glanzner, for accompanying the pupils.
