4de in Malta – Thursday

After Thursday morning’s lessons it was off to Valletta for a guided tour of the city. We left the viewing of St John’s Co-Cathedral until last and made it optional – only a few of the pupils decided to have a look inside, but I think they would agree that it was worth it. It really is very impressive and our guide provided us with a wealth of interesting information.

Later the pupils were taken back to their host families on the school-organised coach while the teachers remained in Valletta for the evening. A sunset harbour tour in a very small boat was followed by a delicious traditional Maltese meal in a small restaurant.
