3d and the Reckturm

On Monday 29th October, 3d took a stroll into town for an informative guided tour of the Reckturm. Thanks to Mr Josef Karlik, this part of Wiener Neustadt’s original city walls is now a wonderful museum. During the entertaining tour, pupils learnt about the dangers of picking up old material from the Second World War that they might still find lying about in the area around Wiener Neustadt. This, along with the warm weather and the walk onto town and back, made for a very pleasurable excursion.
