On 24th May 2d went up to Asparn an der Zaya to visit the MAMUZ Primeval Museum. It was a beautiful day for an excursion and we enjoyed a comprehensive tour of the outdoor displays of prehistoric accommodation and techniques. There was even the chance to ambush a mammoth and create fire with a piece of flint before nourishing ourselves with some very hard flatbread.
After checking out the indoor exhibition there was just enough time to enjoy the playground (I don’t think this bit dated back to primeval times) before jumping back into the coach to return to a very wet Wiener Neustadt.
