Office Party?

We have our school’s Open Day every year in November, and it has become tradition for a selected number of fourth-year pupils to act as guides for the visitors. This is no easy task, as they need to be able to answer pretty much any question about the school that is thrown at them, all the while being polite, engaging and helpful. And this in both German and English, of course.
This year’s team was exceptionally good (as is always the case!) and after all the stress was over and the public had left the building, the Headmaster invited the guides into the office for a “thank you party”, with drinks and snacks. The pupils had not been expecting this, and were pleasantly surprised. All of them enjoyed the day, despite it being tiring, and all were very proud to be able to represent their school in such a way.
We are equally proud to have you at our school!
